Update in light of Covid-19

Update from Pastor Sam- 3/18/20

The Holy Spirit is the main character in every part of our spiritual life, sustaining and empowering us to receive all the promises we have through Christ.

The Holy Spirit is an eternal and divine person who was sent by the Father and Son to empower and lead God’s people.

Because the Holy Spirit came down on the Day of Pentecost, we are completely transformed to experience God’s power and presence in our lives as we display His glory to others.

As followers on God’s mission, how we make decisions should reflect God’s heart and desire for His people.

When Jesus returned to Heaven, he chose us to become His Spirit-empowered witnesses sent on a mission to our world.

In order to prepare for to study through the book of Acts you must embrace that the Holy Spirit moves through God’s people in powerful ways to accomplish His mission to reach others and make disciples.

In order to make an impact for God in our world, we must have a heart and desire to see people far from God experience new life that only Christ can give.

Growing in Christ is a life-long journey, empowered by His grace, that involves all God’s people striving toward maturity together so that we can show God’s glory.

As we welcome a new year, God empowers us to embrace His mission for our lives and our church as we seek a clearer picture of His vision for us.

When we understand the supremacy of Christ, we realize the true meaning of Christmas, and our lives have true purpose and meaning.

Glorifying God in ministry means that His people work together to accomplish his purpose and mission.

This past Sunday we walked through Colossians 4:2-6, looking at two fundemental aspects of how Christ-followers communicate: We are called speak to God about others and we also speak to others about God.

Colossians tells us that we are united with Christ and have a foundation that is built to last. Here are some ways we can apply what have learned to our everyday life.
