Hello CrossWay Family,

We know that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become a worldwide concern and is on the top of everyone’s minds. The CrossWay Staff and elders continue to monitor the situation closely.

We urge our members and guests to take recommended precautions. Older adults with serious chronic medical conditions including heart and lung disease and/or diabetes, should take specific precautions. All others should continue to be mindful of recommended procedures to prevent illness.

As of today, we do not have plans to cancel any of our regularly scheduled services or events. We are working hard to stay up to date on the latest information regarding COVID-19.

Our church already does a terrific job of maintaining cleanliness throughout the building. We have and will continue to disinfect and clean each item and surface in our kid’s classrooms and other surfaces throughout the building before our Sunday service.

For this Sunday, we are also taking additional measures to maintain cleanliness.

  • We will have offering boxes at the back of the worship center rather than passing the offering plates.

  • We encourage you to avoid shaking hands and limit close contact with others as you are able, especially those with health risks.

  • We have placed additional hand santizer and anti-bacterial wipes around the church building for your convenience and use.

Here are some things you can do to partner with us to make sure CrossWay remains a safe place for people to gather:

  • Stay home if you are not feeling well. You can access the sermon audio each week on our website.
  • Cover your mouth with your forearm when coughing and sneezing
  • Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time. Washing with soap and water is the most effective way to combat this virus.

As believers, we must remember that our hope is in the Lord. We have a steady and sure confidence that God is the ruler of all and He is in complete control. I pray God uses this uncertain and confusing season to display His glory and draw others to know Him! May we as his people trust in His goodness and sovereign hand, and would we point others to the blessed hope we have in our Lord and Savior!

Pray with me for our neighbors and our nation as we serve the Lord together.

Blessings,

Pastor Sam
